Reflection

Service

The greatest thing a person can do is to help another person know that they are not alone.

— Sobonfu Somé

Why this matters:

In many indigenous cultures, the purpose of service is to maintain the spiritual and emotional fabric of the community. Isolation is the greatest poverty; service is the medicine that restores the sense of belonging.

Psychological Lens

Isolation can intensify distress. Feeling accompanied, witnessed, and remembered is often protective during grief, depression, anxiety, and recovery.

Reflection Prompt

Who helps you feel less alone, and who might need that from you right now?

Tiny Practice

Send one low-pressure message today: 'No need to reply quickly. I just wanted you to know I am thinking of you.'
